🎉 Kidz4 Community CIC Awarded £20,000 National Lottery Funding
We are incredibly proud to share that Kidz4 Community CIC, the charitable arm of Kidz4, has been awarded £20,000 from The National Lottery Community Fund to support mums, babies and toddlers across Battersea and Wandsworth.
This funding will allow us to deliver accessible wellbeing sessions designed to reduce social isolation, nurture maternal mental health, and create supportive spaces where new mums feel seen, heard and supported.
As a relatively new mum myself, this project is deeply personal.
Motherhood can be beautiful — but it can also feel overwhelming, lonely and all-consuming. The early months are often filled with sleepless nights, emotional highs and lows, and quiet questions about whether you’re doing enough. For me, the difference between surviving and truly enjoying those early stages came down to community. Park walks. Honest conversations. WhatsApp messages at 3am. Women who understood.
This funding means we can now create more of those spaces for other mums.
Through specialist sessions delivered by our experienced Kidz4 teachers, we will offer gentle movement, connection, baby bonding activities and safe community environments where mothers can build friendships and regain confidence during early parenthood.
The National Lottery funding recognises the importance of preventative wellbeing support — not just for children, but for mothers too. Because when mums feel supported, families thrive.
At Kidz4, our mission has always been to improve children’s wellbeing. With this funding, we are proud to expand that mission to support mothers at one of the most vulnerable and transformative times in their lives.
We are deeply grateful to National Lottery players for making this possible, and we cannot wait to begin delivering these sessions within our local community.
If you would like to get involved, partner with us, or attend one of our funded sessions, we would love to hear from you.
Together, we are building stronger families — from the very beginning.
