  • The Kidz4 Children’s Yoga Teacher Training is delivered as a self-paced online programme, allowing you to progress through the content around your existing commitments while developing real confidence and professional competence. The training moves logically from understanding child development and structured class design through to behaviour management, safeguarding and classroom-ready delivery.

In addition to the self-paced learning, the course includes two live 60-minute group sessions designed to enhance your practical understanding and professional readiness.

The first live session is a practical teaching immersion. During this session, you will experience and break down a model Kidz4 children’s yoga class, gaining insight into structure, language, pace, transitions and engagement techniques. This allows you to see the Kidz4 framework in action and ask questions in real time, giving you clarity before progressing into your own teaching practice.

The final live group session takes place after course completion and focuses on getting you fully set up professionally. This includes guidance on lesson planning, risk assessments, safeguarding expectations, DBS requirements, insurance, and preparing to teach in schools or community settings. The aim is to ensure you leave not just qualified, but confident, compliant and ready to begin.

Unlike many online trainings, Kidz4 combines flexible learning with structured live support — ensuring you feel guided, connected and fully prepared to step into real teaching environments.

  • Yes — upon successful completion of the Kidz4 Children’s Yoga Teacher Training, you will be fully qualified to teach children’s yoga.

The course is accredited by the International Practitioners of Holistic Medicine (IPHM), which means you are eligible to obtain professional insurance and teach children’s yoga anywhere in the world.

Our training is designed not only to give you a certificate, but to give you real confidence, structure and practical tools to deliver safe, engaging and developmentally appropriate sessions for children aged 2–12. You will learn how to:

    • Plan structured children’s yoga classes

    • Manage behaviour confidently

    • Adapt sessions for different age groups

    • Integrate mindfulness and breathing techniques

    • Teach safely within school and community settings

Unlike many community-based courses, Kidz4 has been built from over 15 years of experience delivering programmes inside independent and state schools, with a strong focus on wellbeing, education standards and child development.

By the end of the course, you won’t just feel “certified” — you’ll feel capable, professional and ready to teach.

  • While prior yoga experience is helpful, it is not essential. We teach you the foundations of children’s yoga, classroom management, safeguarding awareness and age-appropriate delivery from the ground up.

    The most important pre-requisites are:

    • A genuine interest in supporting children’s wellbeing

    • Confidence to lead and communicate

    • A willingness to practise and apply what you learn

If you plan to teach in schools or settings, you will also need:

    • A DBS check (depending on your country)

    • Appropriate insurance (which you can obtain after certification due to our IPHM accreditation)

Our aim is to equip you not just with knowledge, but with the practical skills and confidence to step into real teaching environments.

  • Yes — to ensure you feel fully confident and classroom-ready, there is a practical assessment as part of the course.

You will be required to plan and record a full children’s yoga session delivered to your chosen target age group (for example, Early Years, KS1 or KS2). This recording will then be submitted for review as part of your assessment process.

You will be assessed against a clear set of criteria, including:

    • Structure and flow of the lesson

    • Age-appropriate language and delivery

    • Safety and posture awareness

    • Behaviour management and engagement

    • Integration of breathing and mindfulness

    • Confidence and communication

This practical assessment ensures you are not just completing theory, but demonstrating real teaching ability — something that schools and parents value highly.

Once your assessment has been successfully reviewed and approved, you will receive your accredited certificate and be fully qualified to begin teaching.

At that point — you’re ready to go.

  • The practical assessment is designed to ensure you feel confident, safe and fully prepared to teach — not to catch you out. If your submission does not meet the required criteria on the first attempt, you will receive clear, constructive feedback outlining exactly what needs refining.

You will then have the opportunity to implement that feedback and resubmit your recorded lesson. Our aim is to support your development and help you reach the required standard, not to prevent you from qualifying.

We understand that teaching children for the first time can feel nerve-wracking, and growth comes through practice. The assessment process is therefore supportive and developmental, ensuring that by the time you receive your certificate, you genuinely feel ready and capable of delivering high-quality children’s yoga sessions.

  • Yes — for an additional fee, Kidz4 can process your Enhanced DBS check on your behalf and guide you through securing affordable professional insurance.

This is a unique advantage of training with Kidz4. Many children’s yoga training providers offer certification but do not actively operate within school environments themselves — meaning they cannot support with compliance processes in a practical way.

As an organisation currently delivering programmes across multiple schools and educational settings, we understand the safeguarding requirements first-hand. We are therefore able to:

    • Process your Enhanced DBS (UK-based trainees)

    • Advise on the appropriate level of safeguarding compliance

    • Recommend trusted and affordable insurance providers

    • Guide you on what schools expect before hiring external practitioners

Our goal is not just to qualify you, but to help you become fully compliant, professional and ready to teach in real educational environments.

  • All Kidz4 Qualified Children’s Yoga Teachers will be offered the opportunity to interview to work with us across our programmes in South West London.

As an actively operating children’s wellbeing company delivering sessions in schools and educational settings, we are always looking for confident, well-trained teachers who align with our ethos and standards.

While completion of the course does not guarantee employment, it does mean you are eligible to interview and be considered for paid teaching opportunities within Kidz4.

Not based near South West London? No problem.

We are still very happy to offer you an interview if you are looking to gain experience, practise your delivery and receive professional feedback. Many of our trainees find this invaluable in building confidence before launching independently.

Our aim is to support you beyond certification — whether that’s through potential teaching opportunities, experience-building or guidance as you establish your own children’s yoga offering.

  • When you enrol on the Kidz4 Children’s Yoga Teacher Training, you will receive lifetime access to our comprehensive library of pre-recorded training videos, allowing you to complete the course at your own pace and revisit the material whenever you need to refresh your knowledge or refine your teaching.

The course includes two live 60-minute Zoom sessions. The first is a practical group teaching immersion where you will experience and break down the Kidz4 class structure in action. The second takes place after completion and focuses on getting you professionally set up — covering lesson planning, risk assessments, DBS guidance, insurance and preparing to teach in schools or community settings.

You will receive downloadable lesson plan templates and risk assessment templates to support you in delivering structured, safe and professional sessions from day one. We also provide guidance on obtaining your Enhanced DBS (UK) and securing appropriate insurance cover.

Upon successful completion of your practical assessment, you will receive an IPHM-accredited certificate, qualifying you to obtain insurance and teach children’s yoga worldwide to children aged 2–11.

In addition, you will gain access to our private Kidz4 Teachers Facebook community, where you can connect with other trained teachers, ask questions and share ideas. You will also receive ongoing newsletters with continued inspiration, fresh lesson ideas, updates and practical resources to support your development long after you qualify.

Our aim is that you leave not just with a certificate, but as part of a supportive, professional network — confident, connected and ready to teach.n

  • The Kidz4 Children’s Yoga Teacher Training is designed to be completed over approximately 6–8 weeks. As a self-paced programme, you are free to move through the content at a speed that suits your schedule, however we recommend allowing this timeframe to ensure you have the space to properly absorb the material, practise your teaching and prepare for your practical assessment with confidence.

This duration strikes the right balance between flexibility and depth. It allows you to build your knowledge progressively, apply what you are learning in real time and develop genuine confidence in delivering structured, age-appropriate sessions. Rather than rushing through the training, the 6–8 week framework supports meaningful skill development and ensures you feel fully prepared to teach in schools, nurseries or community settings.

Many trainees complete within this recommended window, while others choose to move faster or take additional time depending on their commitments. The course is designed to work around you — while still maintaining the professional standards and practical readiness that define the Kidz4 approach.

  • You have a Lifetime access to the course content. We do reccommend you setting a goal to complete within 6-8 weeks to keep pace and motivation going but we also understand that Life can be busy!

  • Kidz4 is not simply a children’s yoga training course — it is a qualification built from real experience delivering structured wellbeing programmes within schools and educational settings. Unlike many community-based trainings that focus primarily on adapting adult yoga for children, Kidz4 has been developed through over 15 years of hands-on work inside both independent and state schools, with a clear understanding of what educators, parents and children truly need.

The training is education-led and grounded in child development, classroom structure and behaviour management. We place strong emphasis on how to confidently lead groups, manage energy, create psychological safety and deliver sessions that align with school environments. This ensures you are not only able to teach yoga poses, but able to lead purposeful, engaging and professionally structured sessions that schools respect and value.

Kidz4 also goes beyond certification. As an actively operating children’s wellbeing organisation, we offer real pathways into employment, interview opportunities and practical guidance on building a sustainable children’s yoga offering. Our focus on business readiness and professional standards means you leave not just inspired, but prepared — with the clarity, credibility and confidence to step into real teaching opportunities.

  • Yes — and we actively encourage you to do so.

The Kidz4 Children’s Yoga Teacher Training is designed not only to qualify you as a children’s yoga teacher, but to equip you with the structure, confidence and professional understanding needed to build your own offering. Whether you wish to run after-school clubs, nursery sessions, holiday workshops or wellbeing programmes, the course provides the practical foundations to help you get started.

As part of your training, you will be introduced to our private Kidz4 Teachers Facebook community, where you can connect with other qualified teachers, share ideas and ask questions as you grow. You will also receive ongoing newsletters packed with fresh lesson ideas, seasonal inspiration and practical resources — particularly valuable for those building and sustaining their own children’s yoga business.

We believe in empowering teachers, not limiting them. Many of our trainees go on to create their own successful children’s yoga offerings, and our aim is to ensure you feel supported, inspired and professionally prepared to do the same.

  • Yes — we offer flexible payment plans to make the Kidz4 Children’s Yoga Teacher Training more accessible. We understand that investing in your professional development can be a big step, so you can choose to spread the cost over manageable instalments rather than paying in a single lump sum.

During enrolment, you will be able to select a payment plan option that suits your budget and timeframe. If you have any questions or need support choosing the best plan for you, our team is happy to help.

We want to make it as easy as possible for you to begin this journey with confidence and clarity — because your growth as a children’s yoga teacher matters to us.
